The short version. Keep Photo cleans up your photo library on your device. Your photos are never uploaded, viewed, or stored by us. We do not have accounts and we do not ask for your name, email, or phone number. We earn money from optional ads and subscriptions, and those partners process limited device data as described below.
Keep Photo ("the app") is published by Coopres Apps ("we", "us"). You can reach us at coopresapps@gmail.com. This policy applies to the Keep Photo Android app and to this website.
All of the core work happens locally:
We have no server that receives your photos. There is no cloud sync, no backup, and no account.
The app itself does not collect personal information. The following is collected by the third-party services we use to run ads, keep the app stable, and measure what works:
If you are on a free plan, the app shows ads from Google AdMob. AdMob may collect:
Where required by law (for example in the EEA and the UK), we ask for your consent before using data for personalised advertising. You can change or withdraw that choice at any time in the app under Settings → Ad privacy settings. If you decline, you will still see ads, but they will not be personalised.
We use Firebase Analytics and Crashlytics to understand which features are used and to fix crashes. These services may collect: app version, device model, OS version, country, in-app events (for example "scan completed"), crash stack traces, and a pseudonymous app-instance ID. We do not send your photos, file names, or any content of your library.
If you subscribe, the purchase is processed by Google Play. We receive only whether a subscription is active and its product identifier — never your card details. Google's handling of payments is covered by the Google Privacy Policy.
You can revoke any permission in Android settings; the app will simply lose the related feature.
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or port your data, to object to processing, and to withdraw consent. Because we do not hold an account for you, most requests can be satisfied directly:
We do not sell personal information for money. Advertising partners may use identifiers to show personalised ads, which some US state laws treat as "sharing" for targeted advertising. You can opt out through the in-app ad privacy settings or by resetting your Advertising ID.
Scan results and fingerprints stay on your device until you clear the app's data or uninstall it. Analytics data is retained by Google according to the retention settings in our Firebase project (currently 14 months). Crash reports are kept for 90 days.
Keep Photo is not directed at children under 13 (or under 16 in the EEA/UK). We do not knowingly collect data from children. If you believe a child has used the app, contact us and we will help you remove the data.
Our service providers (Google) may process data in countries other than yours, including the United States, under the transfer mechanisms described in their privacy policies.
Data in transit to our providers uses HTTPS. The app does not transmit your photos at all, which removes the largest possible risk.
If we change how the app handles data, we will update this page and change the date at the top. Material changes will also be noted in the app's release notes.
